ClassicalTimeline is a cooperative effort and there are numerous ways in which its users can help to make it a success.
1) Suggest/Contribute an Entry:
If you wish to contribute an entry to the timeline –and you feel that you are suitably qualified to do so– then let us know. Please contact the editor that supervises the area where your entry would most naturally fit. Please note though that the assigned editor may have already have plans to work on the topic themselves, or have already arranged for someone else to complete it- but please feel free to inquire.
We especially want to get scholars and writers to contribute to our video library. If you are interested in delivering a 15-30 minute video on a relevant topic then let us know and we will strive to get your contribution on the timeline. We can do this by sending you an HD webcam through the post.
2) Spread the Word:
Let people know about the timeline’s existence. Please join and direct others to visit our facebook and twitter pages. If you study or work within a Classical Studies, Philosophy, or Theology department think about sending an e-mail round the faculty and students to let them know that they can get involved, or mentioned to them that they might find it to be a useful resource.
3) Join our Editorial Board:
We are considering starting editorial boards within the topics of Early Christianity and Ancient Philosophy to help evaluate and improve the timeline’s entries. If you would like to potentially join us, and you feel that you are suitably qualified, please get in contact.
